Functional Nutrition at NW-IN integrates advanced clinical nutrition training with whole-systems assessment to support individuals with complex and chronic conditions using a trauma-informed approach. NW-IN conducts a detailed health and nutrition history, integrating whole-systems assessment to identify underlying contributors to chronic and complex nutritional needs. Services are overseen by a doctoral-level clinical nutritionist and may include adjunctive botanical education under the guidance of a Registered Herbalist. Care includes assessment of dietary patterns, biomarkers, digestion, metabolism, nutrigenomics, and lifestyle factors to inform individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy interventions within licensure and scope of practice.

Clinical Nutrition for Weight Management at NW-IN is delivered through a trauma-informed, whole-systems approach that considers the metabolic, endocrine, digestive, and physiological contributors to weight-related concerns, especially in the context of complex and chronic conditions. NW-IN conducts a detailed health and nutrition history, integrating whole-systems assessment to identify underlying contributors to chronic and complex nutritional needs. Care is overseen by a doctoral-level clinical nutritionist and may include adjunctive botanical education under Registered Herbalist supervision when appropriate. Services include assessment of dietary patterns, digestion, metabolism, biomarkers, and contributing medical factors to develop individualized, evidence-based nutrition strategies consistent with Medical Nutrition Therapy scope and guidelines.

Women’s Health nutrition services at NW-IN use a trauma-informed, whole-systems approach to assess metabolic, hormonal, reproductive, and nutritional contributors to women’s health concerns, particularly in the context of complex and chronic conditions. NW-IN conducts a detailed health and nutrition history, integrating whole-systems assessment to identify underlying contributors to chronic and complex nutritional needs. Care is overseen by a doctoral-level clinical nutritionist and may include adjunctive botanical education under Registered Herbalist guidance when appropriate. Services emphasize individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy, evidence-based nutrition planning, and monitoring of clinical outcomes within licensure and scope of practice.
